Meet the Hens

   The Hall of Chickens

This is Jackie Chan.  She is very graceful and quite a matriarch to our farm.

This is Bobbie.  She is the favorite of all the hens and rules over the entire farm. She is also one of the biggest chickens you ever see.

Red is very vocal.  When ever she lays an egg she makes a racket because she is so proud and wants everyone to know.

We have brown egg laying hens.  Their breeds include, Barred Rocks, Red Stars, Black Stars, Black Australorps, Rode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, White Rocks, and Red Sex Links. Then we have a few color laying hens called Araucanas. They lay green and blue eggs literally and they taste the same.

Always looking for bugs, worms, or seeds to eat!

The Hens love the back pasture!!!  

He is a bantam roster and tries to be the best he can.

For a little guy, he sure knows how to Crow.
